Every handcrafted piece tells a story of creativity, empowerment and environmental stewardship. We partner with members of our local community to collect glass waste from restaurants, homes and hotels, preventing it from ending up in dumpsites, and turn it into beautiful, functional pieces. Along the way, women gain the skills to access green jobs, shift awareness toward sustainable products, and craft custom pieces for personal and corporate gifting.

100% of our employees are women from the immediate community, who walk to work every day and receive free training from MokoMaya.

How It Works: Our Value Chain

We're disrupting the usual waste cycle by going directly to the source, closing the loop on a model that normally sends glass straight to the dumpster. Going direct gives us better quality raw material and creates a direct impact on the households and outlets we collect from.

We do this in partnership with waste aggregators, property caretakers, bartenders, and restaurant supervisors, all of whom we train alongside our own team.
